At UL: Hailing from the University of Louisville, right handed pitcher Chandler Dale has committed to spend the summer with the Southern California Catch. He has only seen one inning at the collegiate level, but has a high school resume to support his worth.

At Jeffersonville High School, Dale played on the varsity team for four years. After going 6-4 with a 1.90 ERA and 79 strikeouts, Dale received All-State honorable mention and All-Conference honors. Not only that, but at the plate Dale hit .382 with 32 RBIs and 12 doubles. He also made Jeffersonville High School history by throwing the school’s second perfect game in history.

Personal: Born on August 11, 1995 in Jeffersonville, Ind. Parents are Jerry and Missy Dale. Siblings include Makenzie, Harrison and Griffin. Majoring in communications. After college, he wants to pastor a church and travel the globe talking about Jesus. Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career was his grandfather because he taught him to persevere and fight through life's trials. Hobbies and outside interests include talking about Jesus and hanging out with family. Favorite movies include Mrs. Doubtfire, Gladiator and The Sandlot. Favorite TV shows are Friends, Seinfeld and Shark Tank. Favorite athletes are Derek Jeter and Adam Wainwright. Favorite cereal is Life. Favorite candy bar is Snickers. Favorite foods are steak and broccoli. Favorite team is the New York Yankees. Favorite restaurants are Spaghetti Factory and Chipotle. Enjoys listening to Christian rap and worship music. As a youth player, he competed in the 2008 Little League World Series and the 2010 Junior League World Series.
