Strike Three!

La Mirada, CA – The SoCal Catch are excited to announce the signing of four final pitchers for this upcoming summer.  Right-handers Conner Davis and Joey Hanley as well as twin brothers Tucker Thomason and Tallon Thomason are slated to join the Catch pitching staff this upcoming season.

Conner Davis, a 6’0”,160-pound righty from Lee’s Summit, MO just finished up his red-shirt freshman season at Creighton University. Davis didn’t see much action in his first full season appearing in only one game, but this doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a history of sustained success. Conner was a high school Under Armor Preseason All-American in 2015 as well as breaking high school records in career appearances and saves. The right-hander will have the opportunity to possibly work his way into a prominent role with the Catch this summer.

Joey Hanley is a freshman at North Central College, a NCAA division III school located in Naperville, IL. Hanley, a right-handed pitcher, is originally from Crystal Lake, IL where he attended Prairie Ridge High school. Hanley, despite his size, is a hard throwing pitcher with above an average repertoire, one that will play nicely in the Catch bullpen. As well as participating on that baseball team at North Central College, Joey also is an Ambassador to the Epilepsy Foundation.

Tucker and Tallon Thomason are twin brothers that both hail from Las Vegas, NV and play for Fresno City College. The two freshman brothers, while similar in appearance, will bring completely different skill sets to the Catch staff. Tucker, a right-hander, held a 0.00 ERA in 4 innings this season, a small sample size, but he has proved the ability to shut down the opposition. Tallon has seen action in 10 games and pitched 25 innings. Tallon tallied a 4.68 ERA while showing the ability to be an asset out of the bullpen and to make a spot start if needed.  It won’t be long before Tucker and Tallon both create a name for themselves to the Catch fans this summer.
